Diversity Education Initiatives (DEI) at UT Austin

  • DEI ‘provides diversity education through consultation and the facilitation of educational programs, designed to meet the goals and needs of the organization, for The University of Texas at Austin and community.’ Their Educator Network connects members of the UT community, as well as the broader community, interested in diversity and social justice. DEI also partners with community organizations to conduct Community Diversity Education.

Asian Family Support Services of Austin (Formerly SAHELI)

  • AFSSA ‘provides assistance to Asian and other immigrant families dealing with domestic violence, sexual assault, and trafficking.’ Their community outreach and education program promotes awareness about domestic violence in Asian communities and partners with other organizations to expand outreach.
